Introducing Our New Intern and Partnership with Bath School of Management

We are thrilled to welcome Alvin Khant to the Peace Lily Gifts family as our new Operations Intern! Alvin joins us for a 4.5-month placement from the Bath School of Management BSc programme, and we couldn't be happier.

At Peace Lily Gifts, we help companies discover, choose, and select the ideal gifts to express appreciation for their staff. This promotes a culture of gratitude, enhances employee retention and supports their CSR goals. Our emphasis is on mindful, meaningful, and artisanal corporate gifting, all crafted in the UK and grounded in sustainability. Our approach merges elegance and thoughtfulness with eco-conscious values. Alvin shares this passion, and we're delighted to have him on board.

Dr Dele Kehn-Alafun, founder of Peace Lily says, "During his internship, Alvin will dive into the world of operations and startup life, gaining invaluable hands-on experience. We are committed to supporting him as he puts theory into practice, develops both personal and business skills, and enhances his commercial awareness. We’re excited to see him contribute to our mission as a values-driven brand.

Welcome, Alvin! We’re glad to have you with us and look forward to the stories and successes we’ll create together."

This partnership marks a significant milestone as we collaborate with the Bath School of Management to make this placement a reality. A big thank you to Beckie Upton, Mayya Nikolova, Rebecca Cooper, and Yvonne Groves for facilitating this journey. Special thanks to Victoria Coe of Kinkind (a fellow female founder from Buy Women Built) for the introduction.

We are pleased to have the opportunity to invest in business and management talent of the future.

Here's to new beginnings and shared successes! 🌿✨
